Josh Hood

Owner/Operator

Josh loves the moment when a customer walks in and sees the project for the first time, making their dreams a reality. Outside of work, he enjoys biking and swimming with his wife Emily and their two kids.

Emily Hood

Owner

Emily helps to keep the office running by covering everything from paying bills to bookkeeping. When she isn’t at work, she enjoys reading, running, writing, and spending time with Josh and their two kids.

Stephen Wilson

Operations Manager/Foreman

Stephen enjoys outdoor activities, community service in local government, traveling with his wife and three children, and Christmas music. He excels at organizing and implementing processes to streamline projects, enhance company operations, and improve customer experiences.

Kash Farney

Project Manager/Foreman

Kash and his wife live in Sterling with their two children. He likes managing new construction projects and working on bids. When he is not at work, he enjoys spending time with his family, ministry work at church, and golfing.

Jon Van Veldhuizen

Foreman/Project Manager

Jon loves trim work, and honing in on the small details. He comes to Hood Construction with a background in furniture, which he still loves to do. He lives in Sterling with his wife and three boys. 

Chris Hilgendorf

Shop Manager/Driver

In addition to managing our shop, Chris drives to pick up and drop off job materials, as well as filling in the gaps mowing properties and tracking our equipment maintenance schedule. He enjoys Chiefs football, KC Royals baseball, and spending time with his family.

Garrett Fracchiolla

Carpenter

Garrett, from Temecula, CA, now in Sterling, is the second oldest of four siblings. He teaches art for a local homeschool co-op and enjoys creating. At work, he appreciates the opportunities to work with flooring and tile. Passionate, creative, and dedicated, he brings artistry to both his personal and professional life.

Dillon Stowe

Carpenter

Dillon, is a Texan transplant with a knack for creativity and craftsmanship. Dilon adds flair to both his leisure time and professional endeavors. His hobbies typically involve art, music, and cooking. While on the job, he enjoys honing his woodworking and carpentry skills.

Austin Medley

General Laborer

Austin, from Irvington, KY, is a full-time student at Sterling College, juggling studies with work at Hood Construction. Outside of this, he dedicates time to fitness, cooking, and expanding his knowledge. At work, Austin handles various tasks including material handling, demolition, and lawn care.
